Hurried trip to no where

A picnic that hurried over NOWHERE

Tinkune,Subidhanagar

It started with a lot of confusion over the place of visit and over the number of people going for the picnic but finally we were twenty set out on the journey to Tribhuwan Park, Thankot. First kakani then to lakure Bhanjyang, again to Kakani and finally to Tribhuwan Park. It wasn't known to many which would be the final place we would go. It was the night before the judgement day when Pradeep and I went to manage the utensils where people quoted the place Kakani by saying like "jana t a janchau Kakani tara pharkera audainau" and "Kakani k kamna matra janu tyasto jadoma ammama kehi napayera tya jana lageko Paagal ta bhayenau, tyaha ta gas ko cylinder sidhincha tara paani umlidaina. ",etc.

Then we tried to consolate the situation by deciding to go Tribhuwan park. We had chosen the place so that even it rains it would not matter. we didn't inform many of them except few of them who were revolting going to Tribhuwan Park like Utsaha, Rajeev, etc. Then came the day but still many of them were shouting of the chosen place. I was not feeling well from the night before as the rain hit us when we had gone to New Road. Finally decision was made and we set out but we were eventually late after we waited for Jagat, Bishnu and Pachak. We reached the destiny by 9:30 am and there were a bit of loose done by the guys. Then party begun. We ate sandwich and a cup of tea and then just chilled around and tumbled over the old lady when taking a video. And ate the light lunch with achar, bhootan and chiura . It was a good time then. But when the groupism ( a most discussed topic in class about the picnic ) started to hover around, though the sun was out the weather turned gloomy and many were embarrassed.

It was a bit of boring time in between when many disappeared from the spot. We just danced with the mood created for the sake only………. You know you cant deny the fact that its great joy dancing with the dance partner of opposite sex whatever you say about it. Girls of our camp were greatly dizzy except few people. Even Radhe danced with us. Finally we just played a single game bingo and I don’t have any idea if anyone enjoyed except Mobin dai who eventually was the luckiest among the all winning all the prizes except one won by Ganesh and Jagat. My health had completely deteriorated and so was of DA and Veesan Biradar. We danced, danced and danced with no joy of dancing. Some even didn’t show the reason of going to picnic sitting quite and still doing nothing . I say her better stay at home girl.

I was lucky to be alive as Bijayata saved my life I had cut my finger and I was bleeding badly when she ran to the store and got a handy plast for me. I thank her “ in spite of my behaviour she she is my saviour.” The skull was almost wore and tore at the end. Truly Bijayata was the all-rounder of the picnic. She did work very hard there. Hats off to you Bijayta.

The meal was fantastic, Mobin dai is prolific at cooking though. Fried chicken, chicken chilli, chatni, kopiko tarkari, etc every thing was so very delicious.
The darkness had covered all over when the time was to return. Though we managed to wrap up the things pretty quickly and return. It was boring way back home too.

My Recent best song

Hindi Lyrics :

bin tere kya hai jeena - 2
mere dil ki raani tum
meri khushiyon ka mausam
mere khwaabon ki taaviz
mere sapanon ki tasveer
bin tere kaisi aas
woh jeet ho ya haar
tere sang hai sab kuchh
tu na ho toh bekaar

bin tere kya hai jeena - 2

suni khaali raaten
ruthi feeki baaten
har aahat pe chaaukun
tujhko harsu dekhu
tujhko hardam sochu
tujhko har pal chahu
tere bin toh jeevan mera hai intezaar
bin tere kya hai jeena - 2

tere saath jiye jo pal
kuchh unse nahi badhkar
tere khaatir saans main loon
teri khaatir jeeta hoon
marne ki tamanna bhi
tere saath main rakhta hoon
tu hai jeene ki wajah
kar mera aitbaar
bin tere kya hai jeena...

Dhoom -2

Hindi Lyrics: dhoom again and run away with me
on a rollercoaster ride
dhoom again and see your wildest
dreams
slowly come alive
dhoom again and gotta break the
rules
and party all the time
dhoom againwe gotta steal the
show
you know that ain't no crime
so steal all that you can
the magic you begun
let's shout,break out
comes on once againlets hear it
dhoom machaale.........

dhoom againand feel the beat of
the rythem
rythem of the night
dhoom again and hear the voices
calling
creatures of the night
dhoom again and see the shadows
dancing
in the pale moonlight
dhoom againa and feel your
heartbeat pumping
now the time is right
so go walk out the door
get down....get on the floor
let's shout break out
come on once again let's hear it
dhoom machale

and when love comes your way
you'll know its here to stay
you'll steal the chance 'cose you're
the thief of hearts yeah
you'll win with a galance
walk away with your romance
there's no more ther's no backing
out now

dhoom again and make the whole
world crazy
set your spirit free
dhoom again anf take a break right
now
come celeberate with me
dhoom again 'cos all wanna do
is steal the showsomehow
shoom again 'cos all i wanna say
is hey the time is now
let nothing get you down
go out and paint the town
let;s shout break out
come on once again lets hear it
doom machale....

Unity is Strength

Why to go far, lets see even I our own hand, a single finger is nothing but when all five fingers combine we have a palm, a palm that can create revolution. One cannot even think of living single. We should be united. United, we have a name but single we don’t even exist. Hadn't the Great Prithvi Narayan Shah united us, we would have lost our existence to the British in the Anglo Nepal war. Hadn't Gandhi united the Indian people, there might have been a United Kingdom flag waving at the neighbors.

History is a poof and even the present world. No country can set up sovereignty without the co-operation and help of others. The countries got to be united. It might not be in the territorial way but with the thoughts and friendship. We know that united we stand single we fall.

Why not talk bout our own same country Nepal. In the previous years the Nepalese people, the political parties and the Maoists all were revolting for the installation of the pure Democracy alone but fruitless. When all of them united the power is installed, the autocratic monarchy is almost uprooted and the peace is almost in the air. We know that a mass can better protect than a single. it applies not only in case of people but also in animals and even insects. the group of ants working together for food shows the significance of unity. The unity should be maintained not only in the case of demonstration, security, etc. but also in the feelings. The respect for others thinking, belief, religion makes unity otherwise there occurs a great chaos all around.

Unity can not only create revolution but also evolution. When we were the apes and Chimpanzees living alone in the jungle we knew nothing of our potential and the greatness of being most superior animal. When they started to live together and unite they discovered many things and there occurred evolution.

If we talk about the Western countries, the unity among the Europeans and Americans have made them daring enough to Intervene Iraq and Afghanistan in the Middle East where there prevailed no unity among the neighboring nation.

Even in ourselves we can feel that without unity we cannot do anything. Like if we plan for picnic, game, etc. we need to be united. Being alone we cannot do the task. So, we all the people should be united to perform the good deeds towards the country and help the Earth to be like the heaven above.

Know about the glory of the greats in Nepal.

"when time comes we the Nepali should unite for the sake of whole Nepal and the Nepalese."

Janak,
Biratnagar.
When the likes of the great Prithvi Narayan Shah Was on the act we all were determined for the nationalism and the pride of the country. With the passage of the time it has all changed and changed for what is the question to ask to ourselves. With the passage of the time it has all changed and changed for what is the question to ask to ourselves. With the then demise of the Shah Kings brought Rana on to the rule and still at that period of mishap for the Nepalese the whole country revolted to get the freedom and the King to top the charts again but now at least the kings demise is for the good of the people and the country. The JanaAndolan part-II has just shown what the people can do with the power of unity again. Again and again the revolution would be in the air if the freedom of the people is evil treated. Even if the situation persists the Nepalese people are not going to resist the pain of being handicapped.

Here i am Janak Talking politics

The Hottest Topic on These days Nepal

The controversial anthem by Byakul Maila has created a wave of talk around the nation. The people are mainly unhappy with the selection procedure and some even with the lyrics. Pradeep Rai (Byakul Maila).

The issue of Maila to be one of the kings nobel man before the JanaAndolan part-2 is actually a funny remark to make upon him.
Did poet Maila make a mistake?

BY SHEKHAR KHAREL

KATHMANDU, Dec 6 - Had the National Anthem Selection Committee headed by Satya Mohan Joshi anticipated such a hue and cry over the outcome of its task, he might have withdrawn his name. Following the announcement of lyrics by Byakul Maila (Pradeep Kumar Rai) as the best among over one thousand entries, the whole nation is divided, with some elated and others baffled over Rai's entry being proposed for the national anthem.

Ironically, the committee headed by Joshi, a towering personality in the domain of culture and literature, and including other eminent personalities such as virtuoso Amber Gurung, poet Bairagi Kainla, Durga Lal Shrestha, Modnath Prashrit, Ramesh Shrestha, Shrawan Mukarung,

Dr Benju Sharma, Amar Giri, Nanda Krishna Joshi, Gopal Thakur, Aahuti and Bund Rana - all arguably non-controversial personalities and held in the highest esteem, - had eventually accomplished a most onerous task.

The Kathmandu Post approached many prominent names in Nepali literature to learn of their views on the selection of the anthem. Many of them only said 'no comment' and modestly distanced themselves from any further controversy.

The controversy over the proposed anthem further deepened with poet Maila's alleged role in editing 'Nepali Geetsangraha- 2059' (Collection of Nepali Songs 2059) coming to light. The preface of the collection reads, "It is our utmost pride to enlist in this anthology the song penned by His Majesty King Gyanendra, who is highly respected in Nepali literature under the name of G Shah."

But what is intriguing now has nothing to do with Maila. It happens to concern the methodology of the commission.
They did not go for a process in which they could ask the writers to produce their full resumes along with a list of their publications. The Committee selected the poems without knowing who the writers were.

"We've recommended this anthem to the cabinet as per the mandate given to the Committee," said selection teams coordinator Joshi. Regarding the substance of the poem and the poet's alleged role in the past, Joshi adds, "we were not given the names of the poets during the screening. The poem was the best among all entries and the Committee selected it unanimously."

"It was a daunting task to select a poem limited to hundred words," Joshi clarified. "How many rivers or mountains can you put in? The nation is secular now, so the question of religions and deities is redundant. Basically we focused on metaphors and Maila's piece is good in that."

However, the committee was also mandated to look into past works as well as form a selection group comprising renowned personalities if the open competition failed to find a suitable poem.

Though the Committee opted for the most democratic process, voices are being raised by many eminent poets that Maila's piece is a banal one.
"This is a childish approach", opines poet Bimal Niva and asks, "What do you expect when you call a tender? Writers of high esteem might not participate in such an awkward situation."

"It would have been wiser to approach capable writers or look into previous songs," Niva suggested, adding, "I think Rato Ra Chandra Surya by Gopal Prasad Rimal is best suited here."

Poet Mohan Koirala also shares a similar view. "This is devoid of sentiment, rhythm and patriotism," he argues, "the poem is too superficial."

"We could have chosen one from previous works, such as Rato Ra Chandra Surya".
Whatever the accolades or criticisms pouring in these days, the thought that looms is once you give people the opportunity to participate with a promise not to select by writers' names you should equally give them assurance that they are not betrayed. Hence, was it a mistake on the part of Maila to participate in this 'tender' for a national song?
